The Lakers improve to 17-16 on the season and 12-10 in the conference.Leading the Bears in game one was Molly Flynn with one RBI, going 1-3 with a double, and Lacey Malbeuf with one run, going 1-3. Megan Strough pitched one inning for the Bears, allowing three hits, two runs, one walk and struck out two. Heather MacVean came in as relief for five innings allowing five hits, three runs, two walks and struck out four.In game two, Kari Frego and Jillian Dunkleberger both had hits and Jessica Brower had a stolen base. Ashley McCoy pitched five innings, allowing three hits, gave up four runs, walked two and struck out seven. MacVean pitched one inning allowing one hit, no runs and one walk.Jillian Burns, Melissa Ryan and Erin Tracy led the Lakers in the two games. Burns had two RBI and went 2-3 in game one and Ryan scored two runs, going 1-3. Tracy recorded two RBI and went 1-3 in the second game.
Michelle Jackson pitched all seven innings in both games, allowing a two-game total of six hits, one run, walked two and struck out 16.
