All of the available tickets are distributed to graduating seniors or Master's candidates when they purchase their caps & gowns. Try to find someone who isn't using all of his/her tickets. For the Master's Commencement, those guests without tickets will be seated in Snell Theater to watch the ceremony on a closed circuit television system with an 11 foot diagonal screen. For the outdoor Undergraduate Commencement, no tickets are required. In the event of inclement weather, those guests without tickets will be seated in the Ice Arena to watch the ceremony on the same closed circuit television system.
Student leaders who are interested in working with new freshmen next year as part of the "We CARE" program, should e-mail me for further information.
Here's a neat sustainability idea. There's a web site (www.sim pleshoes.com) that sells shoes and sneakers made from natural fibers, recycled plastic bottles and recycled car tires.
I need one more question for the last Racquette of the semester. Also send in any energy saving or sustainability ideas to askjoe@potsdam.edu.
