* In Potsdam's Most Wanted it stated on February 6 "student was delivered letter of suspension from Student Govenment Office." It should have read "student given letter of suspension at University Police." Student Government does not have the authority to suspend any student. The confusion occurred because the University Police Blotter was being dictated to The Racquette over the phone and when the officer said Student Conduct Office it was heard as Student Government Office. Since this problem occured, The Racquette has been working to gain copies of the University Police Day Sheets, which is the official name for their blotter. As of Wednesday, February 20, The Racquette has gained access to the University Police Day Sheets and a member of The Racquette is getting copies of them at least twice a week. The campus community should be aware that the University Police logs are public information and should be available to anyone who wishes to see what our campus police do on a daily basis.
